The fine print

We put top sirloin in a taco. We beer-batter the cod. We shred the carnitas in house and bury the fries under carne asada. The tortillas are flour, unless you say otherwise. Traditional? Not especially. That is the point.

  1. Brick & Flour is one of those places that consistently delivers. The food is always high quality, the service is excellent, and the employees are friendly and welcoming every time I visit. The restaurant is also always clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere. What really stands out is the incredible value—you get amazing food at a price that is hard to beat. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for great food, great service, cleanliness, and amazing value!

  2. I got the Carne Asada Fries (large regular style fries). Absolutely delicious. Maybe the best I’ve had before. And they’re huge (worth the price of $17). Definitely shareable. Will be back

  4. Since I discovered this place I eat here almost every day and I order the same thing every single time. Small Carne Asade Beer Batter Fries $14.31. The first time i ordered "as is" and yuck. Too much toppings and saturates the fries with guac, chipotle, salsa, and cheese. Just too much! Now I ordered just meat fries and cheese. That is the "Jose Way"😎 Overall the food is consistent but when I think "Carne asada" I imagine a certain unique flavor, but what they call Carne Asada, is more like just salty beef. It doesn't have any unique flavor. It's certainly doesn't taste like anything I used to have during family back yard bbq's. When I think carne asada my mind revert back to my days as a teen visiting my extended family enjoying tasty meat but as I said. Brick and flour has some basic salty beef. I'm not saying it to knock brick and flour, but that is the reality. But I can definitely prefer this over your typical large chain restaurant. I even ate here during 4th of July! 🇺🇲 The dinning area was quiet and chill and that's why I like to eat here daily. I will continue to be a loyal customer. Lately I've been pairing my order with the green salsa and it's very mild but it gives the food a good zesty balance without burning your tongue. I noticed alot of people make the mistake of parking in the front, busy street and lots of traffic. But they actually have a decent size parking in the rear. That is where the savvy customers Park (if you scroll on the reviews it seems others agree the meat is salty and not much flavor)

  5. The food here is fresh and incredibly delicious. I ordered a fish taco, a shrimp taco, and a chicken taco, and each one was bursting with flavor. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The fish taco was my personal favorite, with a perfectly balanced taste. The chicken taco was surprisingly flavorful for a simple chicken taco. What sets this place apart is their house-made sauces and salsas. They don’t use any bottled sauces, which adds to the authenticity and taste of their dishes. Unlike typical Mexican restaurants, this place offers a more unique food experience. I don’t know if I’d call it fusion , but it’s not your typical Mexican food, I would call it delicious with some unique flavors. The food is never greasy or heavy which says a lot. Yes, the restaurant is located near a gas station, and turning into the parking lot can be a bit tricky. But don’t let that deter you. The food and the charming owner are totally worth the effort. I’d post pictures but it’s already all gone…..I’ll definitely be back soon!
